JASON OWOMUGHISHA SANDY
Jason is 60 years ‘old and has been leading the team since 2004. He is our wisest and longest standing Guide. He has incredible all-around knowledge and he is our expert birder! He knows most of the 1,000 birds of Uganda. There is no question about Uganda Jason cannot answer and even spicing it up with a little anecdote.
There is not a guide who hasn’t been at least on one tour with Jason. One cannot imagine a better teacher. To be trained with his calm, patient and humorous way has been a big advantage for the other guides.
Jason is married to Constance and has 2 children of his own as well as 2 adopted ones.
Jason’s favorite animal is the elephant and he could watch them for hours. He says they are intelligent and know how to survive and they also like to travel and stay in motion, just like him.
Jason knows everyone has different interests and readily adapts to the challenge.
The most important thing to him is that the guests are happy and go home with great memories about Uganda.
DANIELA BAYER
Dani is 50 years ‘old and was born and raised in Cologne, Germany. She is married to Patrick a Ugandan artist and the leave in Jinja not far from the Source of the Nile. She enjoys guiding our guests through her adopted home country, its beautiful sceneries, amazing wildlife and friendly people.
It means a lot to her to be a direct link between visitors and Uganda, to interact with people from different horizons, age and background, which makes each tour an interesting and unique one. Her favourite animal is the African Elephant, a symbol of wisdom, experience, power, loyality, companionship and good luck! Even after so many years its still breathtaking and exciting when a herd of elephants crosses the road in front of the vehicle – softly, quietly and so graciously! Her top 3 favorites places are the majestic Virunga Volcanoes, the remote Kidepo Valley National Park and Lake Mburo National Park.

ROBERT KASOZI
Robert is 47 years ‘old and is from Mbarara near Lake Mburo National Park in South West Uganda. On his parents’ farm, Robert’s “job” after school was to protect the crops from monkeys and birds and it was his first introduction to wildlife. From the age of 12 he knew a lot of birds’ and mammals’ names in his local language and it was later an easy task for him to translate them into English. Robert studied mechanics and learned to drive. But he wanted to broaden his horizon and the tourism industry was a strong call! He has been working as a Free Lancer since 2007 and officially joined the team in 2019.
Robert is married to Adrine (herself a Tour Guide) and they have 5 children.
His favorite animal is the giraffe because of its height and their graceful walk and their passive behavior. His favorite country is Uganda because as he puts it: we have snow close to the Equator, Tropical rain forests, Savannah grassland, savannah woodlands, wetlands. Lakes and rivers, mountains and a lot of sunshine!!!
